As a proud father to a 17-year-old daughter, I find joy in travelling, photography, and immersing myself in classical Indian music and jazz. A self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, I’m passionate about technology and digital disruption. I also cherish connecting with like-minded individuals and exchanging ideas on various subjects.
I’m a Mumbai-based senior CXO-level professional with 28 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI), including 25 years in the Investment/Asset Management Industry (such as mutual funds).
Professional Experience:
For the past 22 years, I have been working with SBI Funds Management (SBIFM) as the Executive Director & Head of Strategy. SBIFM is the investment manager for SBI Mutual Fund (link).
I work with a bunch of young and talented teams who are committed to our mission of providing best-in-class investment management expertise to investors, we are helping SBIFM build products, solutions, and tools for investors from small retail investors to sophisticated global institutional investors.
I actively contribute to various events in Personal Finance, Marketing & Sales, Fintech, Indexing, and innovation. I have also been associated with the following industry committees:
